Kaguu - Yoshino

-New Single Premier-

MX/USA long distance band Kaguu unveil their new single "Yoshino"

Kaguu started as a bedroom project in 2015 by Mexican guitarist, Rafa De La Garza. Joined by long distance friend from North Carolina, Nick Acker on drums, the duo marches forward towards the goal in their minds of expressing video game-like compositions through the use of odd time signatures and clean guitar tapping.

In "Yoshino" starting off with pristine bell chimes and bird chirps, things get moving quickly as a tapping guitar riff comes in and noodles its way into the foreground.

Some visuals that come to mind when listening to this song include: Japanese hanging gardens, Sonic the Hedgehog, and ancient ruins.

At around 2 minutes in, a slower pace ensues as background synth brings bright rays of sunshine into the picture.

Just when I think it's over, a reprise back into the mix of things comes in to carry me away into the clouds once more. This song is an exhilarating ride through the depths of an old world where magic exists and one must find their way through each level until you reach glory at the end of the journey.
